Cutting ckresale's chipboard sheets with your Cricut:

Regardless if you have the Cricut, Cricut Expression, regular blade or deep cut housing/blade you can still cut chipboard. Be aware though that a new blade and new mat will give the best results. For chipboard that is clay-coated white you will get the best results if you cut it with the white side down.
**If you are using an older mat you can use masking tape around the edges to keep it from shifting. The masking tape should be extra sticky to the mat but gee off of the chipboard easily**
I do offer samples if you'd like to test out my chipboard on your own machine before making a purchase. Keep in mind that this guide is written from first hand experience so results may vary.
Here is a break down of each thickness that I offer for sale. If you have any questions, ASQ me. The .022 is geparable to a cereal box, try it.
.022 - Blade - 5-6, Pressure - Max, Speed - High, Multicut - 2
.024 - Blade - 5-6, Pressure - Max, Speed - High, Multicut - 2
.028 - Blade - 6, Pressure - Max, Speed - Max, Multicut - 3
.032 - Blade - 6, Pressure - Max, Speed - Max, Multicut - 4
***Some customers have experienced trouble with the .032 not cutting all the way through on multi-cut 4 in some of the corners or curves, to solve this issue you can make an extra cut with your machine or with your exacto knife. (See questions below) Because of this issue I would regemend using the .028 or .040***
.040 -UPDATED - Blade - 6, Pressure - Max, Speed - Max, Multi-cut - 4
***Try the .040 with multi-cut 4 first; it should cut through with no problems. If you have trouble with the corners or curves a 5th cut will do the trick.
.080 - Can not be cut with either machine or either blade. It is way too thickto even clear the rollers.
Using chipboard in your machine may require some practice. Before starting just make sure your blade is clean from and paper pieces and your chipboard is nice and sticky to the mat so that it doesn't shift during cutting. If you can move the chipboard with your nail the blade will move it too.

HOW DO I DO MULTI-CUT ON MY ORIGINAL CRICUT?
Since the original Cricut does not have the multi-cut feature and you need to make multiple cuts, you will have to do it manually. When you are finished with your first cut you will need to hit "load paper" again in order for it to go back to the original point that the first cut began. If you hit unload and load again it may not go back to the same starting point. You will have to choice your image again. Do this by selecting repeat last on the machine and then cut or selecting cut with Cricut in ds or scal. This can be repeated many times over and over again but the most you should need to do it is 5 times.
HOW DO I DO MULTI-CUT 5 ON MY CRICUT EXPRESSION WHEN IT WILL ONLY ALLOW ME TO CHOOSE 4 AS THE MAXIMUM?
You will set your machine up to do it 4 times by going to settingsmulti-cut4. Choose your cuts as normal and let it run 4 times, when it is finished you will need to hit "load paper" again in order for it to go back to the original point that the first cut began. If you hit unload and then load it may not go back to the same starting point. Next you will turn off multi-cut because you only want it to cut 1 more time, not 4 more times. Choose your image again by selecting repeat last on the machine and then cut or selecting cut with Cricut in ds or scal. This will give you 5 cuts.
