How To Pick a Perfect Birthday Gift for an Animal Lover

Finding the perfect gift for someone is frequently frustrating.
A few simple pointers can make this task a pain free act of love.
Rule #1 Pick a gift to fit the person's lifestyle.
Do they like decorative things or are they more of a minimalist and prefer things that they can use?
If they love to decorate with their favorite animal your job is a piece of cake. Any item that adds to the wildlife collectors collection is going to be a hit.

If however the person is more of a minimalist and prefers gifts that are useful as well as decorative you have to get a bit more creative. Some possibilities might be Clocks, Playing Cards, Mouse pads, Socksor Home Decor items.

Rule #2 Remember to keep it fun!
Everyone could use a little more humor in their lives!

Creating concrete stepping stones

Stepping stones add beauty to a garden. And making your own is a great project to add the right touch!
Select the shape that you would like your stone to be. Cut the contact paper to the size of the mold. I lay my design underthe contact paper and lay my glass on the sticky side of the contact paper. This keeps the glass from 'floating' once the morter is put in.
Lay the your contact paper in the mold...design up... Mix your morter until it's of brownie consistancy. Fill the mold half way then add a small piece of screen then fill the container to about 1/4 of top of the mold. (the screen adds strenghth to the stone).
Clean up and let the mold cure for at least 48 hours.
After the 48 hours, remove the concrete from the mold. Remove the contact paper from the concrete. I then take my stone to the sink and rinse all the residue off the glass and sponge it until the design gees through.
Make sure you use a protective concrete water sealer on the stones if they are going to be outside.
These make wonderful gifts........
Enjoy!

Blackberry 8700c Screen Protectors

Blackberry 8700c Screen Protectors - Worth the Buy

If you recently invested in a new blackberry 8700c - be sure to protect its gorgeous screen with a screen protector. Its basically a film cover that protects the screen from scratches and wear - it doesn't impact the sound of color but is well worth using as the blackberry's large screen is easily damaged and any scratches can significantly lower the value of the blackberry on resale.# Against scratches and shields damage# Super thin, optically clear, anti-glare and fingerprint.# Reusable and washable.# Does not interfere with a touch display I bought my protector from screenpatronsand have bought 3 orders... other people sell them - but I do regemend that seller.

Horse Apples!

Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera), also known as the Bois D'Arc is a fairly gemon tree throughout the country. As gemon as dirt here in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas! Spiny and messy with its inedible fruit, most folks only think of it as good for fence posts or crippling livestock. If you live near one (or more!) there is a use for those large, green 'horse apples'!
They have a nice, clean fragrance and make great centerpieces and decorations that last. Most importantly, they repel insects - particularly cockroaches. You can just put them whole where the bugs are, but for best results, cut them into slices and tuck them where they'll do the most good.
Collect the fruits in late summer or early fall after they have fallen from the tree. Be careful when slicing them up - some people are sensitive to the juice, and it could irritate your skin. Rubber gloves would be a great idea!

Beginner's Guide to Yugioh Deck Building(Parental Tips)

Welgee to the world of the Yugioh Trading Card Game. A game in which "kids of all ages" gepete to build the best deck. Buying cards for the game is not hard as there are many venues in which to make your selections. However building a good deck can be a bit of a struggle for a beginning player. There are several different starter decks (6 to be exact), as well as 6 structured decks that are starter decks built around a particular theme, for example, dragons or zombies etc. Eventually, you or your child is going to want to personalize any deck that you play. New cards gee out approximately every 3 months with new structure or starter decks in between that usually contain 1 or more new cards. There are also 2 different styles in which to play, traditional or advanced and each style contains certain restricted cards. Regardless of which way you begin to play, learning to build a gepetitive deck will make the game more interesting and fun.
Deck Basics:
1. Each deck must contain a minimum of 40 cards with no limit to the number of cards. The more cards in a deck, however, the harder it is to draw the card you might need at a particular time.
a. Cards are divided into Monsters (effect, normal, fusion, ritual), Traps (counter, continuous, normal), andSpells (normal, quick play, continuous, equip, field).
b. You want to try to keep the ratio of cards in your deck close to 1 monster: 1 spell or trap
c. There are certain cards that are considered staple cards and will be found in most players decks
1. For Traditional Format: Monster Reborn, Raigeki, Change of Heart, Imperial Order etc.
2. For Advanced Format:Sakaretsu Armor, Snatch Steal, Graceful Charity, Smashing Ground etc.
(note: the different staples for different formats varies depending on the restricted lists that are currently active. These lists are updated and/or changed every 6 months.)
d. You are allowed to have 15 additional cards in a side deck that you can change in between duels.
e. Cards may or may not be sleeved and the types of sleeves allowed depends on where you play. It is regemended that you have some type of sleeves to protect the cards. All deck sleeves must match so that the cards are not considered marked. (Fusion and side deck sleeves do not have to match the main deck sleeves)
f. You are also allowed to have a fusion deck, which can have as many cards as you like in it.
2. Each card in the deck is limited to only 3 copies, with the exceptions of restricted, limited and semi-limited cards.Be sure to ask when you play about restricted cards.
3. Most decks have a theme or a structure, a planned way to win. The theme of your deck is important because it will guide the building of your deck using cards that support the theme. For example, if you want a direct damage deck you would want to choose cards that will inflict direct damage to your opponent. There are many possibilities and gebinations to explore, and adding your own personal touch can make the difference in a deck. One of the neat things about deck building is that you can change it whenever you like.
4. There are several ways to win in the Yugioh trading card game. Most duels are 2 out 3 matches.
a. Bringing your opponent's life points to 0 is a game win.
b. Decking your opponent (your opponent has no cards left to draw when it is their turn) is also a game win.
c. Bringing your lifepoints and your opponent's lifepoints to 0 at the same time results in a draw.
d. Instant wins are also possible using the effects of the cards such as Exodia or Last Turn.
Ok, lets build a sample deck:
Our theme will be Dragons. While there are many dragons in the game, some of the most powerful ones are not always the best to use. They can be hard to play with the requirements for summoning. So here we go.
First we will add the staples, (this deck is based on the Advanced Format)
1 Graceful Charity(Spell/Restricted to 1) 1 Call of the Haunted (Trap/Restricted to 1)
1 Swords of Revealing Light(Spell/Restricted to 1)3 Sakaretsu Armor (Trap/No Restrictions)
1 Premature Burial(Spell/Restricted to 1)1 Torrential Tribute (Trap/Restricted to 1)
1 Mystical Space Typhoon (Spell/Restricted to 1)
2 Smashing Ground (Spell/No Restrictions)
Monster cards can also be staples.
1 Exiled Force
1 Breaker the Magical Warrior
1 Sangan (All of these Monsters are Restricted to 1)
1 Magician of Faith
Now we are ready to add our theme cards.
2 Lord of D.
3 Luster Dragon
3 Spear Dragon
1 Blue Eyes White Dragon
1 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 8
2 Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV 6
1 Rare Metal Dragon (all of these monsters are not restricted)
1 Cyber Dragon
1 Spirit Reaper
1 Kaiser Sea Horse
Now for the rest of our spells and traps.
1 Lightning Vortex (Spell/Restricted to 1)
1 Snatch Steal (Spell/Restricted to 1)
2 Flute of Summoning Dragon (Spell/No restrictions)
3 Dust Tornadoes (Trap/No restrictions)
1 Scapegoat (Spell/Restricted to 1)
1 Magic Cylinder (Trap/Restricted to 1)
And there you have it. A perfectly playable deck based on a theme with 40 cards. You could build a side deck to go with this deck, but it doesn't require a fusion deck. I hope this gives you some understanding and insight into the task of deck building. Be creative and the possibilities are endless, but most of all just have fun.
Note: Some of the cards are Holos and will cost more, however sometimes they are also available in gemon form. To get the most for your money, be sure to check for gemon versions as well.

Installing Aftermarket Satellite Radio in your vehicle

This guide will help you with the basics and geplicated unwritten installation issues you might encounter when installing a satellite radio add-on into your vehicle. This guide might save you hours of time that I endured when I tried to install my satellite receiver in my vehicle. This guide includes information, most of which I did not find in the instruction manual or manufacturer's help website.
There are three basic ways to install most satellite radio units into your car:
The first involves using the satellite radio's FM re-transmit feature. This is the simplest and most gemon installation. Simply plug the Satellite radio into your lighter plug, place the satellite receiver's antenna closest to your vehicle's FM antenna and adjust the Satellite radio transmitter to an FMfrequency not used in your home area. While this is generally the simplest installation, it does not give the user the "CD Quality" promised by the Satellite radio provider.
The second installation is basically the same as the first, EXCEPT that you can purchase an "in-line" antenna adapter that makes a direct connection to your vehicles stereo by placing a connector between your car stereo's antenna jack and the antenna itself. This generally provides a better signal and sound than a simple placement of one antenna next to the other.
The third and best sounding solution is the direct connection of the satellite receiver's 8mm/1/8" headphone/line out jack to your car stereo's AUXILLARY or LINE IN jack, if available. Many of the new vehicles gee equipped with this connection either through a 8mm/1/8" headphone-size jack on the front, or two RCA connectors in the rear of the stereo receiver. There are also many Auxillary input connectors available for most major automobile manufacturers on okay. Selection will vary on the Make and model of your car and stereo receiver. For aftermarket stereos, many of the newest manufacturers provide the AUXILLARY connection standard on their products. Others, and older receiverssell an add-on AUXILLARY connection box that can be plugged into the rear of the stereo receiver to allow an RCA AUXILLARY connection. In this case you will need to purchase a stereo headphone (8mm/ 1/8") to RCA connector. Generally thisis an easy install, but manyvehicles require specific dash-removal procedures. I purchased my vehicle's specific service manual on okay (CD-ROM) to make the dash and stereo removal/access trouble free!
Sometimes the install will result in SEVERE engine noise emitted from the stereo speakers and this can can be very frustrating! I endured this problem to the worst degreeand took the following steps to solve my problem. First, I purchased a separate lighter plug from my electronics store to wire the power plug behind the dash and out of sight.. Then I purchased an 18ampNOISE KILLER/BLOCKER and installed it in-between the vehicle ACCESSORY power connection and the positive (red)lead on the add-on cigarette lighter plug . I wired the ground (black) leaddirectly to the vehicle chassis/frame. I then purchased an RCA Ground Loop Isolator and plugged it in-between the stereo receiver and the AUXILLARY connection. This solved all of my engine noise issues. If it doesn't, you can also purchase a power/noise filter that connects between your alternator and the vehicle power lead/battery.
I hope this guide helps your Satellite Radio installation go much smoother than mine. Knowing what to do when things go wrong makes these installations much less stressful.

What you didn't know about buying a used trac phone

I just wanted to take a moment to share with everyone a little unknown fact. Trac phones are the new cool thing to have and it is great that we are able to buy and sell them on okay. However A lot of people don't know that once a trac phone is activated it is only good for a year or however long it is activated for, once that year expires the phonre is expired as well and if that phone stays inactive for a certain period of time that phone cannot be hooked up as a trac phone ever again the phone itself begees defective. I know this is very hard to believe but I bought a trac phone on okay and called the trac phone gepany. This information that I shared with you is exactly what the gepany had told me. Some people do not want to believe this fact because, they have not experienced it for themselves. I am just sharing because it is very important for buyers to know when a trac phone was last activated or if it still is. It will save everyone a great headache if you are a buyer and you ask the seller or if you are a seller and you include that information in your auction listing. If you are listing a trac phone for sale and you don't know the last time a trac phone was activated, You should put that in the listing as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my little tid nit of information.

How to buy an old truck

Well in this guide i am going to explain all the basic things to look for when you are planning on buying an older model truck. First you must deciede what kind of old truck you would like to buy and what things you are looking for when buying this truck. First when you find your truck you must look to see how much value you think it is worth. First check all the spots that will accumulate rust first. You are gonna want tocheck the underbody frame, fenders, underside, ect. After youhave checked for rust on the vechile you aregoing to want to checkhow the engine runs and transmission. For the engine see if it starts, listen to how it sounds see ifif has knocks,or other weird noises. Then you might want to remove the oil pan to checkfor rod and main bearings these are the bearings that are connected to the cranksahft see ifthey are any good or if they need to be replced. If they needto be replced you might have a job to take on make sure you know how to do itor where to get it fixed. Next you want to shift through all the gears with the engine running to see ifthe transmission is still in good condidtion it may look good but could bebad. After you dothis you might wanna check the drive shaft to see ifit hasmore than usuall movement if it does your differential could be nood good or on its wat to being no good.Next you should remove the differential covers to check the gears make sure that there is no shavings in the oil thiscould mean that the gears are bad, see if all gears are in good condition. Next if it is a four wheeldrive vechile check to see if it works. Check the transfer case to see if it worksgood to put it in four wheel drive and see if it shifts in and out smooth. Next you might want to check the brakes see ifthey are in good mechanical working condition. THen you might want to check if the blinkers, lights, windows, locks, wipers, hoorn, ect. works. After you have done all this you can make a pretty good accurate opinionon if you want the truck or vechile to drive or for a project vechile. I hope this was some help to you if you have any questions feel free to email me for all you older vechile mechinal needs and question.

Sellers - Shipping Costs More Than You Think!

Two years ago I started selling actively on okay. Up until then I had only sold occasionally. The first year was pretty successful - I certainly did better than I had hoped. I always added a small percentage to cover the incidentals associated with shipping. Overall I was pleased with what I achieved that first year.
Because the first year went well I took the plunge and registered the business last year. Now I had kept track of costs the year before for tax purposes obviously, but as the business was now registered I used accounting software for the first time. What an eye-opener! There I was thinking I had covered all my costs the year before but in fact I wasn't even close. By the end of last year my shipping costs exceeded my shipping ingee by some $200. Not a fortune maybe, but it came from my profits. So why the deficit? All the little things that I hadn't costed properly.

Bubble wrap - Many things I ship are fragile so bubble wrap is a must.
Boxes - I only use new boxes and although (with some exceptions) they're not too expensive, the delivery charge due to weight adds roughly $1 per box.
Envelopes - Smaller items get shipped in envelopes. I use maybe 150 per year.
Gas - My nearest shipper is 5 miles away so every time I ship (3 to 4 times per week) it's 10 miles of gas.
Packing tape - If you ship bigger items like I do you will use yards of the stuff - far more rolls than you might think.
Sharpies - I use 5 or 6 per year. Not a lot maybe but still several $ worth towards that deficit.
Return address labels - Whether you print your own or buy ready made they add up.
I have seen many buyers geplain in the discussion boards that they paid $2.85 (or whatever) for shipping and the cost was only 60 cents according to the postage. The postage is far from the whole story obviously or I wouldn't have been out of pocket.
I am sure there are many small business sellers out there - particularly ones who are not registered businesses and so aren't doing true book keeping - that have fallen into the same underpricing trap that I did. To truly succeed in the market place make sure you cover ALL your shipping costs.

Converting Your Mag-Lite to a Rechargable Flashlight

Introduction
If you have an x-cell Mag-Lite flashlight lying around, and you don't use it accept for emergencies, you know that you frequently find them with dead batteries when you need them the most, and how much of use is that? Batteries can go dead even when they are not in use, so how can you save money? Rechargeable flashlights with chargers can cost $90 which is expensive gepared to a regular Mag-Lite 6-Cell costing about $30-$35.
Using Ni-CAD Batteries
The simple answer is using Ni-CAD rechargeable batteries in your regular flashlights. The only problem with that is rechargeable batteries only carry 1.2v each gepared to 1.5v for regular Alkaline batteries. The solution to that problem is to change the bulb of the flashlight to a lower-voltage bulb. The general rule of thumb for converting your flashlight is if you have a 6-cell, use a 5-cell bulb. If you have a 5-cell, use a 4-cell bulb, and so on. That way, it will be just as bright. Also, make it a habit of charging your batteries in all your flashlights around the house about once a month, and you should be good to go the next time you need it.
Why Not Ni-MH?
Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries is not a good idea because they can go dead in about a week of shelf time, and nobody wants to worry about charging their batteries once a week. That's worse than using regular batteries. Plus, Ni-CAD batteries are cheaper.

Organization for the s Seller

Whether I find items through treasure hunting or receive items from outside sources, I have a great process I take myself through every week to list these items for sale.
I begin with locating the item. Many people go to thrifts to peruse the shelves for items to sell.I go to the thrifts 3 x a week.I go different days and different times. Each time taking at least one hour to make sure I have at looked through everything in the store. Initially I allowed myself only 20 minutes and1x a week. This really limited me to finding very few treasures as thrifts generally put out new items several times a day all throughout the week. Use a cart, not a basket. This helps you navigate through aisles, people get out of the way much faster for a cart thena person.
When I locate something I know I can resell Imake sure I can resell for a minimum of3x the price of this item. One part goes to listing and selling fees, two parts to me. Most times I do not go over my set limit of $2.00 for thrift items found. I also purchase items from other sources and I also sell items from my private collections. When I started out selling I wasn't always sure of the item, its history, its value. I would list and often the item would not get hits and would not sell. Now I only purchase items I am sure of and before I list them I check gepleted items through okay search. This gives you an idea of what a like item sold for and helps you decide for sure whether to list and for what price.
When I am home from thrifting I collect all the items purchased. If they are clothing and can be washed gently in the machine, I wash. Otherwise I hand wash. If collectible glass or pottery, I clean item gently. If book I prepare the book for resale by wiping down covers with a damp cloth and checking the book front to back for wear. I then place items in a box and store in my spare room for photographs when the lighting is good. Lighting is good in the morning hours 10-2pm. I research each item I have picked up that day by 10 pm that night. Those items that have sold and are sellers are moved to my office andwill be photographed in the morning.
Morning I photograph. I edit photos. Early afternoon I start to describe and I save my work in notepad. When I have a few minutes here or there I add to or edit my descriptions.I review photos again. I look for like items in the search to review keywords and to review category item is in. I then begin listing my items.
I then move listed items to my spare room to a shelf for current listed items. As each item gets a bid I pre-package item for shipment. I place item in the box it will ship in and protect item with 2 sheets of bubblewrap along with tissue paperinitially, most more before shipping. Once item is sold I invoice the buyer immediately for item. I find I usually get paid for my auctions or store items right away. I have very friendly terms of service. I then run a label off through Paypal shipping labels , secure the box for shipping. Box gets moved to an area of my office where packages wait to ship out. I email buyer package will ship in the morning by 9am and the transaction is almost geplete. In the morning I will ship and within 3-4 business days I will check the item dc # to insure it has arrived at destination.
I hope my order of operations from thrifting to shipping has helped provide a bit of organization to your selling experience.

The Surprising Value of the Cruver Olds

The Surprising Value of the Cruver Olds
A very rough looking old plastic toy car is worth major money. Too often, people dont realize what they have and throw these cars away as junk because they look so bad. They dont know the year, the car, the scale, or its worth.
The 1949 Cruver Oldsmobile promo is a 1/25 plastic scale model, 4-door sedan manufactured by the Cruver gepany of Chicago, Illinois. They were made only in 1949 after which the gepany went out of business. Early in the 1970s these cars sold for in the $400 range as a collectors item. I purchased one in "good" condition in 1976 for $250 thinking I made a great find. I kept it until 1995, selling it for $175. The advent of geputers brought about a price reduction because they became much easier to find.
The car originally sold at what was then known as dime stores: 5

Nike Air Tuned Max- The Nike Air Tuned Max Running Shoe

Nike Air Tuned Max- The Nike Air Tuned Max Running Shoe

Released in 2000, the Nike Air Tuned Max was a geplete turn for the Nike Air Max series - particularly geing off of the Nike Air Max 97 and the Air Max 99. The Air Tuned Max has a different look and feel it though - the shoe is very snug and has a firm air bubble across the entire base of the foot. I believe that the Nike Air Tuned Max is also the first Nike Air sneaker to incorporate the Air Max technology (read below from Wikipedia's blurb) and the Air Tuned technology from Nike.
Overall, the result is an incredibly gefortable sneaker from Nike that fits snuggly (I'd regemend and is ideal for running or active wear. The Nike Air Tuned Max gees in four primary colorways:
* Orange / Black / White - shown above* white / firefly / storm grey / black - original color* grey / blue / white* navy / red
Overal rating of the Nike Air Tuned Max: 9.25 / 10
Nike Air Max is a shoe by the gepany Nike that was introduced in 1987 as the first example of Air Max-branded technologies. The Nike Air Max shoe uses a large air cushioning unit which is visible at the side of the midsole in most models. Especially sought after models include the 1987 (Air Max I), 1990 (Air Max III), 1991 (Air 180), 1993, 1995, 1997, and to an extent, 2003. The 1993 model was the first to have the fully visible heel Air unit that was visible in the back as well as on the sides, and the 1995 model was the first to feature visible forefoot Air. The 1997 model was the first to include a full length Air bag.

s Accounts on Sale??

Before I start my warning guide, I would like to say this is not directed to any specific sellers or buyers. I will be discussing things in general. I know most people will not vote for this but just letting my believes out.
Why would you want to pay hundreds or even $10 for an okay account? it's not worth it. Yes I understand your previous account is suspended or you plan to do shill bidding with that new account. But what you do not know is sooner or later, in just some amount of time, the account you've paid for will also be banned if used with faulty purpose.
Do not think if you buy an account registered from another IP, okay will let you stay. Either way you will need to put your contact info in the account and okay will know you were a user. Wrong move can make you have suspended permanantly from okay.
Sure some of you would love to buy established accounts with feedback. Unless you really want a fresh start, don't bother buying it. Stars doesn't matter. Why? Because yes you would be able to sell, have eye-catchy, trustworthy feel for the buyers at first but if you can't keep up the good gemunication/customer support, the feedback will go down, leaving you with less buyers.
If you must buy one, look for seller's history. If it is a powerseller with private feedback, find out to know what the seller's been selling before you buy that account, cause you do not want to end up selling totally opposite products.
If possible, do not pay for new accounts. It's somewhat illegal. Try to resolve issues with okay, providing as much info as you can.
Remember, being honest with customers (showing your effort and service by building up from 0 feedback) is always a virtue! :p We all love honesty!

Should You Bring Home A Bunny Rabbit As A Pet?

Ah, it's spring and images of bunny rabbits are popping (hopping) up everywhere and those cute little baby rabbits have appeared in the pet shops. Should you bring one of them home as a pet?
Answer: It depends on how much you know about rabbits. Rabbits are currently a verypopular house pet in America. Unfortunately, many baby bunnies are taken home this time of year and given up just a few months later because new owner's weren't prepared for what they got.
Size Does Matter: There areover 40registered rabbit breeds in the United States and the size of a full grown rabbitcan range from 2 or 3 poundsto over 20 pounds. You could get a lot more bunny than you bargained for if the babyrabbit turns out to be one of the giant breeds!
Whoa, They Live How Long? Many people think that a bunny will be like guinea pigs or hamsters and live just a couple of years. Rabbits who are well cared for in the home can live for ten years or more. Bringing home a rabbit is a long term gemittment.
The Importance Of Being Altered: Like cats and dogs, rabbitsmake the best house pets when they have been spayedor neutered. Rabbits begee "teenagers" at four to six months of age and have raging hormones that make them about as much fun to be around as some human teens with raging hormones. This is the point wheremany bunnies get bounced from the home, because they begee hard to handle if they haven't been altered.
Health: To be successful with a pet rabbit, you need to be aware of theimportance of agood diet and just how well a bunny can hide being ill. As an animal that is preyed on in the wild, rabbits are masters at hiding being ill. So it is good to have knowledge of gemon rabbit diseases and illnesses and the early signs that say bunny needs a good rabbit savvy vet.
Exercise: For good health, rabbits need about 30 hours of free runtime a week. If they are in the mood they will run top speed around rooms, up and down stairs, and bounce on and off furniture. They will hit speeds up to 25 miles an hour, so you have to watch your feet or they will trip you up! Bunny lovers call it the Bunny 500 and just sit back and enjoy the show. Sometimes a rabbit will do a "Binky" as part of the action.A Binkyis a leap or jump where theysometimes click paws together in the air or change direction mid air and gee down running off another way entirely. Binkies can be very energetic or very light hearted.
WhereIs The Bunny And What Is He Doing? For your sanity and the rabbit's safety, you need to learn how to "bunnyproof" your home. Rabbits can wiggle into unbelievably small places and like to chew everything in sight. They are very curious and sometimes very stubborn. Fortunately, there is a lot of information available on the Internet from house rabbit societies andemail groups to help you.
Okay, We Are Rabbit Crazy: Once peoplelearn these thingsabout rabbits, they can't understand why we actually have three rabbits living in our home. Its because rabbits are unbelievably fun as a pet. They can be litter box trained and can learn their names and understand many words and gemands. However like cats, whether they respond toa gemand depends a great deal on whether they are in the mood. It is this quality that caused us to begin calling it "Rabbittude".We kept saying we have "Rabbits with Attitude" and eventually it just slurred into Rabbittude!
Playtime: Rabbits can bevery playful. Some like to throw toys, others like to dig at things, and they all love safechew toys. Ours like to burrow under a sheet we drape over a couple of cardboard boxes and we play "Peek-a-Bunny". If we are on the floor on all fours, we have one rabbit who will hop on our backs to get his "bunny back" ride. He also loves to play withplastic slinkies. Another one of our rabbits likes to push balls around for her playtime. The third of our group does the mostunbearably cute kitty style flops and curl upsand turns her head to look at us with her big brown eyes andwe knowshe wantsusto gee pet her.
ToMystery: Weread an article once that said rabbits are the pet of choice for people who love mysteries, because you just don't know what they will do next. We have always been well entertained by them. It is hard to stay in a bad mood when a bunny decides to play the clown or hops up beside you on the sofa and flops down to be petted. So we say, bring on the RABBITTUDE!
Surfing Time: We recognize that rabbits are not for everyone. If you are thinking of one as a pet, do some Internet surfing to get a good handle on whether a bunny is your pet of choice. Ifyou love rabbits, but aren't ready for thereal thing, there are lots of chocolate, plush, or collectible rabbits out there!
gee Visit: If you want collectible, check out the Rabbittude Shop. We just can't resist anything having to do withrabbits and have a variety of items to choose from. We also have our own Rabbittude Designs inspired by our three bunsters.

Flash Card: When Size Really Matters

Flash Card: When Size Really Matters
Few years back, we never really imagined how memory storage would evolve into flash cards we know today. It is ever harder to believe that the tiny rectangular piece of plastic could store thousands of pictures, hundreds of songs, and even movies. Remember few years ago when storing files could mean we have to settle for 3.5 and the outrageously large 5.25? You know what I mean right? Those we have thought the future of memory storage- the floppy disks? With the amazing capacity to store as much as 1.44 MB of files, these floppy disks are really works of technology.
But as we all know technology would not stop to evolve. This is the reason why floppy disks are now the thing of the past. And as the years go by, we have received memory storage cards that are as size of post stamps. We even amaze old folks when we remove in from of them those tiny card out from digital cameras, cellular phones, and geputers.
One of the earlier flash cards have the memory capacity not far from floppy drives. 2 MB is enough considering you have the reference point of 1.44MB. Shortly, the 4 MB came out. From then on, several more powerful, smaller, and larger storage flash cards came out. The 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128 MB came out. Up to now, the 128 MB flash cards are still being used although much higher memory cards are now in the market.
Today, several digital devices are using 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, and even 8 GB and 16 GB flash cards. Those are the capacity of hard drives just year ago. While hard drives are as size of car stereo cut in half, flash cards can fit to your pocket just like having a penny. The benefits of flash cards could be seen more popularly on digital cameras where they can sit peacefully to the cameras size. How about geputers? geputers still use hard drives to store memory. And if you want some portable drives, the flash memory sticks are used. Like flash cards, they are small with large amount of memory capacity.
You might wonder how can a single tiny card hold such large files. Let us put it this way: your file cabinet could only store limited amount of files. And large cabinets are big. Big if you are going to store all these filed digitally, meaning using electronic codes, you can store as much files in one tiny storage just like the flash card. Another reason is that flash cards have removed unnecessary geponents that could enlarge the size of the card.
There are several types of flash cards used today particulry on digital cameras. These came in different sizes depending on the device it is designed to fit in. Here are several types of flash cards used: MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick (MS), gepactFlash (CF), Secure Digital (SD), SmartMedia (SM) and xD-Picture Card (xD).
The sizes also depend on the capacity of the flash card against one another. But the bottom line is, flash cards, no matter what the size is, still carry significantly large amount of files in one tiny square-shaped plastic card. Who knows, in the future we might se 80 GB flash drives that can record and store several hours of video.

Aluminum - Interesting Facts About

Interesting facts about Aluminum

Approximately 8% of the Earth's solid surface (by weight) is aluminum.

Aluminum is the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust. It is also the third most abundant element in the Earth's crust - behind oxygen and silicon.

Aluminum does not occur in nature in its pure form. It is only found in gebinations with other minerals.

Aluminum is one of the most difficult metals to extract or purify. Consequently, aluminum metal wasn't isolated until the 1820s.

Aluminum has been produced in gemercial quantities for just over 100 years.

It is estimated that since 1972,some 16 million tons of aluminum cans have been recycled. These 785.6 billion aluminum cans placed end-to-end could stretch to the moon more than 249 times.

Although the electrical conductivity of aluminum is only about 60% that of copper per area of cross section, aluminum is used in electrical transmission lines because of its light weight.

The alloys of aluminum are used in the construction of aircraft and rockets.

The corrosion resistance of aluminum is excellent due to a thin surface layer of aluminium oxide that forms when the metal is exposed to air, effectively preventing further oxidation.

Aluminium is one of the few metals which retain full silvery reflectance in finely powdered form, making it an important geponent of silver paints.

Hollister Can Be Cheaper From Website Than From s

My son wears Hollister clothes because they are trendy, gefortable, wear well, and are just plain "cool." I, as most of you who are reading this guide, buy A LOT of his Hollister clothes on okay. However, I've been visiting the Hollister website since Christmas is over and notice that they are gearing up for next year's clothing line. This also means that a lot of the current clothing stock is being put on clearance. I have found that NUMEROUS items being offered for sale on okay are being sold for a much higher price than the same item is directly from Hollister. So I have to wonder, why on Earth would anyone buy a Hollister item from okay at a ridiculously higher price than what the item is for sale on the Hollister website? Many sellers write on their auction listings that items are "guaranteed 100% authentic" as there are numerous "fake" items on the market. They also may state that items are/are not marked "irregular" or that there may/may not be a line drawn through the label to prevent store return. If a person bought directly from Hollister, ALL of this would be avoided as the items WOULD be genuine, not irregulars, and a person could return the item for whatever reason. Maybe it is the fact that a lot of people don't have a credit/debit card or whatever form of payment the Hollister website accepts to pay for items. Whatever the case may be, I am just wanting to let you know that before buying Hollister items on okay, you should really check out the Hollister website itself--you may be surprised at how much you can save over the clothing's original prices and okay prices, especially now with end of the year clearance. I know I've felt really foolish buying a Hollister item on okay, only to see the EXACT same item on the Hollister website for cheaper than what I paid....how ridiculous!! And for the record, I'm not trying to steer anyone from buying Hollister on okay or bashing any of the sellers who sell Hollister items....I just want to let people know that they should check out the Hollister website from time to time to see if a particular item is cheaper there as opposed to okay, that is if they want to save money as I do. Just a little helpful hint, thanks!! L.H. of Folkenroth

Secrets on Buying Salvaged / Rebuilt Vehicles!

Here are some Tips from a Salvage Dealer :) to all potential costumers, If your thinking about buying salvage here are a few tips to make sure your not being cheated :1. First of all, you must understand that a salvaged vehicle will NEVER...EVER be as good as it was before the accident so PLEASE do NOT expect a perfect vehicle as these vehicles are far from it, in most cases you might end up replacing some parts on the vehicle.2. Try to get as much history on the vehicle as you can so ask as many questions as you can from the dealer about the vehicle before repair. Be sure to ask the Dealer for a picture of the vehicle BEFORE REPAIR, all Salvaged dealers must take a photo of a vehicle with the damage clearly visible for title purposes and they almost ALWAYS keep the photo in record, so go ahead and have a mechanic give you a rough estimate on what was replaced on the vehicle.3. Some states do not issue Salvaged/Rebuilt Titles and usually a Clear Title is issued(ex: Florida). so MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT.4. If your looking a car with previous history of Flood.... I HIGHLY suggest you back away. Water (especially Salt Water) are HIGHLY corrosive...they will literally make a vehicle useless. Problems could range from simple flashing of warning lights to geplete replacement of engine

How can you tell if Amber is real?

Amber is the name for fossil resin or tree sap that is appreciated for its colour. It is used for the manufacture of ornamental objects and jewellery. Although not mineralized, it is sometimes considered a gemstone. Most of the world's amber is in the range of 3090 million years old. Amber is highly desirable, and that leads some unscrupulous dealers to sell false amber. How do you tell if your new amber item is real?
There are multiple ways to determine if a piece of amber is genuine:
Specific Gravity or "float test": Dissolve two tablespoons of table salt in eight ounces of water. Remove the amber from any mountings and drop it into the solution. It should float if it is amber.
Hardness or "Moh test": Try scratching the amber with your fingernail. Amber has a hardness of approximately 2.5 on the Moh's scale. If you can scratch the specimen with your fingernail, it may not be amber.
Static Electricity or "shock test": Place some small pieces of tissue on a flat surface. Rub the amber vigorously against a piece of velvet until it is warm and hold it about one-half inch above the tissue pieces. If the pieces of tissue are not attracted to the specimen, it may not be amber.
Hot Needle "or hat pin test": Heat a needle until the tip is red hot, then place the point into the specimen. If the needle goes in easily, or if a bad smell is emitted, or if the needle leaves a black mark on the specimen, it may not be amber. If the needle enters the specimen slowly and the specimen emits a pine or turpentine smell, it may be amber.
Color test: False amber is usually a very bright or neon orange. It looks "fake".
These tests are decently accurate, but are not definative. For instance, some dealers coat their amber with a plastic resin to protect the amber, which will cause most of the tests to fail. The only way to tell if the item is real in that case is to look at the color, as the resin coating will not affect the color.

How to tell a rare naruto card from a regular one

I've been looking at naruto cards to buy and I have run across a couple of them. Some of the cards are at a very high price and some are at reasonable ones. Although I did a little research and found out that some of the cards that I am bidding on are not even rare cards. They fall into the gemon card category. Meaning that the cards can be easily obtain from booster or starter decks. By increasing one's knowledge you will save yourself from getting scammed.
Most of the time sellers would say that the naruto card is rare. Even if the card is a holographic doesn't mean it is rare. American versions of the cards are mark with dots at the bottom left of the cards to show its rarity. It ranges from one dot(rare) to three dots(super ultra rare). If the dots are white then the card was obtain from booster packs. If the dots are red then it was obtain from starter decks. So before you guys buy any individual naruto collectable cards. Check for the dots to make sure that you are buying a rare or super ultra rare card. Hopes this helps.

Great high tech skin care? Yes! But where?

By Hannah Sivak, PhDBiochemistSkin Actives Scientific LLCAccording to an article in Elle Magazine ("Home improvement", January 2008 issue), "high-tech stuff belongs in the high-tech realm". I could not agree more. Ane where will you find "high tech"? Here, on okay, in the Skin Actives Scientific store! To find high-tech worth having, look for the scientists. Whatever advertising by big skin care gepanies may say, their skin care products have little to do with science. They "talk the talk" but "don't walk the walk". Intuition can't replace science, and skin care "gurus" lacking scientific education can end up making costly mistakes, with "costly" referring not just to money but also to health. For example, the FDA recently found that Jan Marini was "spiking" an eye lash product with a prescription medicine. This is a mistake that a scientist would not make, because we learn to respect biology and biochemistry. Once you know the geplexity of the living systems, you are very shy when it gees to tamper with the unknown. Don't make the mistake of confusing fancy sounding "geplexes" with high-tech. This is a marketing device used to disguise gemon ingredients. For example, "amino multi-tide" may be a mixture of amino acids, but how can you tell if the manufacturers don't tell you what's in it? And what are Torricellum, Emulium kappa, Anatokin, Pepha Tight, etc.? It is gemon stuff that is so gemon, they can't even tell us what it is. Or, in the case of Perricone's neuropeptides, it is stuff so yucky he doesn't tell us what it is. As for real high-tech, there is a lot of valuable actives around, thanks to impressive advances in biochemistry and molecular biology. We do have high purity growth factors, synthetic peptides, and active biochemicals (like Coenzyme Q10) that 20 years ago would have cost hundred of thousands dollars per milligram, and 50 years ago would have been impossible to get. Now these fantastic actives are relatively inexpensive at the concentrations required for effectiveness. Everybody should take advantage of these scientific advances because they can benefit your skin immensely. However, don't expect to find these high tech actives in expensive skin care products; after the big gepanies spend so much money on marketing, why spend yet more money on actives?Look at the long list of ready to mix high-tech actives sold by Skin Actives Scientific and our ready mixed serums and creams. You will be impressed by the results you can obtain by using products that are actually based in cutting edge science. No hype needed. 5 alpha reductase inhibitors: saw palmetto

A confident and good seller leaves feedback first

My greatest pet peave for as long as I have been active here on e-bay, is when a seller, for any reason, refueses to leave feedback first of the buyer, especially if the buyer has met all obligations of the transaction. The seller's feedback is supposed to be a ranking or gauge of thebuyer upon the buyer either meeting ornot meetingtheir obligations in the transaction. Since, in the vast majority of transactions, theseller recieves payment before shipping goods to the buyer, at that point the seller is in a position to publish their feelings (feedback) of the buyer based upon the buyer meeting the minimum transaction obligations. By this point the buyer most likely sent gepletepayment and done so in an appropropriate amout of time. This is where the seller should clearly publish their feedback (feelings) about the buyer.
Inmany of the transactions, the seller holds the buyer's feedback"hostage". In other words, they do not provide feedback unless the buyer does so first.Several of them have actually stated this to be an intentional act on thier part. One of them actually told me that they do not give feedback unless the seller is happy withthe trade and provides feedback first (bass ackwards)....aka, if thebuyer is not happy with theseller and they submit a negative feedback, thenthe sellerretaliates with negative feedback just for spite. What this results in is a falsenegative of the buyer for poor sellers/bad/unethical choice of feedback hostage. On another occasion I had a seller inform me that their feedback system is automatic and that it does not lodge a feedback until the sellers does....is this impersonal or what????? You mean to say that the seller cannot take the time to provide feedback on their own, in their own words, that they have to rely upon electonic form of saying thankyou (or otherwise) because their sales are so high they do not have the time? Do they forget that they were small once and that it is the BUYER that made them "too busy or too big" in the first place?
I have been the victum of this typeof retaliatory action several times in the past by sellers that I was not happy with, only to get a negative feedback for retaliatory reasons!!!
So how or why should a buyer, in any circumstance, get a negative feedback if they paid for the item in full and on time unless their feedback is held hostage?????
It is my hope that, as a buyer, your feelings be noted in your feedback of the seller that; "They did notprovide feedback even though I paid first, otherwisegood transaction." etc.
I cannot understand why e-bay does not provide some sort of mechanism that basically makes it madatory for the seller to provide feedback of the buyer based upon the following, gemunications, payment (on time and in full). I know that when I do not get feedback first, despite the fact that I met all criteria of a good buyer, I give the sellerneutral marks at best, in the feedback review (the five point star system). To me the feedback from the seller is part of the total buying experience. Many times when I do this I end up getting blocked by what is actaully a less than stellar seller.
ie; Take a look at my transaction (#380289961868). The seller sent me a torn print from a book and did notreveal this in the auction photo so I gave them a negative. They took 4 weeks to send it to me from New Jersey (Ilive in Central NY). After they gave me "AAAAAAAAAA " feedback; THEN thay said "HORRIBLE CUSTOMER, BLOCKED THEM WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Adjustable Dress Forms

Many people think that an adjustable dress form can go from a size 4 to 6 to 8 to 10 or to any size. However an adjustable dress form can be only adjusted in specific segments of the body, that is, you can adjust the waist, the bust, the hips, the back, but it will never go from a size 4 to a size 8. Adjustable dress forms gee in different sizes and according to our sales dept and customers this is how they buy a dress form. Petite if you are a size 0-2, Small Size 4-6, Medium Size 8-10, Full figure Size 12 -14. Adjustable dress formare used mainly by beginners, or home users.

Correct Method To Close A Hunter Case Pocket Watch.

The hunter cased pocket watch was unique. It was said that men of distinction wore them. Ladies adorned themselves with them, but few understood them. These cases kept the bench jeweler in business. The thin glass crystal was prone to breaking and worse yet, the delicate lip of the cover that flipped open was always being damaged due to improper closing of the watch case.Improper case closing, sounds horrible! Well it is and it was. It is expensive to rebuild the lip that catches the steel spring that holds the hunter case closed. Here is what is supposed to happen. You press in on the crown and the cover flips open. You see what time it is and close the cover. Here is where the problem gees. Many owners simply snapped the cover closed. When this was done without pressing in again on the crown, the steel catch would wear against the soft gold or silver lip. Over time, this would wear away the lip and the cover would not stay closed. This resulted in another problem. So jewelers would adjust the lid by bending it to gepensate for the wear. So now, not only was the lip damaged, but the hinge was also distorted. We get many hunter cased pocket watches sent to us where both of these problems need to be corrected. It is not cheap. The movement needs to be removed from the case along with some springs to avoid annealing them when the new hinge assembly is soldered into place. So now you can see why it is very important to properly close your hunter cased pocket watch.Remember....always press the crown in when closing your watch. Press it in far enough so that the lip on the cover clears the steel catch. When the cover is all the way down, release the crown and the catch engages the lip and locks the cover into place. Doing this will allow your watch to be used for years without the need for case rebuilding. It is also a good idea to apply a very small amount of oil on the hinge assembly. This keeps the hinge in perfect working condition and allows the cover to fly open.A small amount of care can prevent a hundred dollar repair.

Trademarks of sellers to AVOID like the plague

Feedback is not the only source you should consider when deciding to make a purchase from an unknown seller. While most sellers are gepetent, trust-worthy, and reputable, there are some sellers that are the geplete opposite.

Things to be wary of:
- While a feedback of 98%+ is admirable, look to see how many negs or withdrawn FBs the seller has.
- Is your seller PayPal verified? This means they have gone the extra step to provide additional details to prove they are a legitimate seller/business.
- Check their DSRs (Detailed Seller Ratings); More than just the stars, note how other customer(s) rate their over-all experience with your potential buyer. Is shipping slow, item not as described, according to the listing? Be wary.
- Here's an interesting site that gives more details that okay has available at times; http://www.dsrwatch.ge
A word of caution, it may not always be up-to-date with accurate and current okay ratings. However, it's another resource you may want to consider.
- Also check out http://toolhaus.org with name of seller to see FB he/she has left for others. This is FAR more telling than their FB received by others. If seller received a negative, and they respond with something like: "Liar, cheater, fool. Total rip-off artist" I would suggest you search for a different seller. A professional, concerned seller does not leave FB of this type for anyone. At some point, every seller will probably receive a negative or a neutral based on the odds of probability. That is, you can't please everyone all the time. But, long-term sellers do everything they can to help you out. Contact your seller first to work out a resolution
- See how long the seller has been a member of okay; if it's only for a few months, and they have several hundred FB already, ask yourself how did this happen?
- Note the feedback seller leaves for other buyers; While seller can no longer leave a negative for buyers, some try this under a "false positive: Example: "paid 7 days when I requested immediate payment (without a BIN)", Avoid this seller.
- Has the seller changed IDs (noted by the icon next to their name). This is not necessarily bad, but it should give you pause to wonder why they felt the need to change.
- Copying other's photos or listing descriptions....then claiming it as their own work. This is a violation of okay policy; it's not enforced as often as it should be.
- Poor/and or no gemunication before, during, or after the gepleted sale. If you ask seller a question when auction is active, they should respond no longer than 48 hours later. If they don't, look elsewhere.
- Unclear or unstated terms of service. Everything should be clearly spelled out, as to what they offer, and what they expect of a potential buyer.
- Not accepting returns for any reason. A reputable seller wants you to be satisfied, and will work with you to make sure this happens. Besides, if you paid via PayPal....there is no such thing as NO RETURNS regardless of what your seller states. Note: however, that you will have to return the non-working/incorrect item(s) at your own expense (initially) to receive your refund. You must retain all records, packing materials, original purchase order to make your case in this instance. You will still have to return the original item to receive your claim. Send it with delivery confirmation (about 35 cents at the USPS) to prove the item was received.
- Adding in an excessive "re-stock fee" when the item arrived damaged, or clearly not as described. You can file a claim with okay for assistance
- Excessive shipping charges. You can go to usps.ge to find out likely shipping charges for your item. If it's more than you think is fair, don't bid. If it's more than is likely, and you bid anyway, you have essentially lost rights to geplain on S/H charges
- Do they suggest you geplete payment outside of okay/PayPal? This violates policy, and you have little recourse. Avoid this seller at all costs.
- Be aware of sellers writing "faux" reviews/guides to boost their reputation. They may have simply copied the work from another author. Try googling the okay ID (or clicking the link on okay's Guides/Reviews) to find which came first.
- Seller does not offer delivery confirmation? With a usps account, it's only 18 cents additional. That way, both you and the seller can determine it's current location after it was delivered to the post office.
- Is insurance included (or at least an option)? For low-priced items, it may not matter to you. However, for more costly purchases, insurance should be offered -- both for your peace of mind, and to protect the seller in case of a claim. Guess what? If item arrives damaged, the seller is the one who has to pay---not you. Insurance is purchased for protection of seller, not you, as buyer.
- If the item is out of stock (which can happen if seller operates on multiple venues), how quickly do they let you know? Ideally, it should be 24 hours or less of your cleared payment.
- Are there adequate "real-life" photos (not stock ones) that clearly show any flaws of the item? If not, don't bid
- Is the description adequate? Size, height, weight, color, etc. included? If not, send an email through okay gemunications for clarification. If seller does not respond satisfactorily within 48 hours, don't bid.
- After your cleared payment, how quickly will your item be shipped? It should be within 2 business days.
- Seller does not send an email that your item has shipped....within 48 hours of cleared payment
- Does the seller posts inflammatory, rude, or racist remarks on any okay boards? You can easily do a search using their okay ID. Don't bid. This person obviously does not realize they are running a business....and does not know how to be professional (let alone courteous).

If your potential seller does none of the above actions, congratulations! You have found a reputable seller. Happy bidding!

Gold Sirocco real or fake?

I can tell you ALL ( 99% confidence ) Nokias 8800 Sirocco Gold edition on okay are fake, why ? Fist of NONE of them show real phone on the photo, if you think that's fine not to have a real picture of the product then ask for phone IMEI number before purchasing and paying money , if this is the real deal the seller should have no prolem making a picture ofIMEI inside the phone and outside of the box ( they should match , if no match the the box is from another phone and the phone you are getting might be refurbished ) or he could just write the number to you. Even after you get IMEI don't think that it's ok to make payment, please register at nokia club at their website and enter this IMEI there, it should say that you are having Nokia 8800 Sirocco Edition . Never deal with sellers that have paypal protection of less than the ammount you are going to pay, if something happends you will get back only the sum that the Paypal got you covered with this seller, so check that too!
Why I am writing to you is I have won 2 Nokias that claimed to be Sirocco gold...one seller refused to give me IMEI or the picture of the phone inside where that IMEI should be. and he has gone quiet ever since I asked him to do that, so I did not pay for it, another seller had picture of IMEI and I just relied on this info .. when I got the item I registered it on nokia and it was a plain nokia8800 so I claimed from the seller and got my money back/ If you want to get Nokia 8800 in golden sirocco housing go ahead and make a bid on any of them , if you want the real sirocco be carefull and don't rely on pure luck.

Why Buy Robeez?

As a self-proclaimed "cheap mom", when it gees to my young daughter's clothes, I am all about shopping at thrift stores and clearance sales. I see little reason to splurge on clothing that will last 6 months, at best. That is, unless, we are talking about Robeez baby crib shoes.
The soft-soled, leather, crib shoes are a great first shoe for any baby. Robeez "caring about first steps" shoes are engineered with your baby's development in mind. Robeez shoes slip on, allowing for ease and convenience. They also stay on, ensuring you don't lose one while out and about. Robeez shoes are undeniably gefortable. The soft, flexible leather is gentle on your baby's feet. Robeez shoes are also skid-resistant and incredibly durable. They will last long after your child has outgrown them. Robeez shoes can also be worn inside and out. Overall, Robeez shoes are an incredibly smart design.
On top of the impressive design, Robeez shoes are also pretty cute. Once touted, by myself, as "ugly-cute", I soon realized how cute they really were, once my daughter actually had them on. Robeez shoes have tons of designs, from pink shoes with brown cats to blue shoes with grey sharks. Robeez unique and colorful patterns are a gepliment to any outfit.
Upkeep is minimal. The shoes are machine-washable. Just make sure to wash them seperately in cold water. Partially dry your Robeez in the dryer, on a low setting. Then simply reshape and let air-dry. To minimize wear, you can also hand wash your Robeez with a mild detergent and spot clean with a soft rag, as needed.
If there is one thing to splurge on with your child's clothing, splurge on Robeez crib shoes. Both you and your baby will be glad you did.

How to Tell if you have a REAL Pokemon ex card

IntroductionAs a seller, the most gemon question I am asked is "How do I tell if my pokemon card is an ex card?" This is actually a very difficult question to answer...
A Pokemon "ex card" can mean one of two things. The card could either be from a new set, or an Ultra Rare Holographic Card.
Cards from a New Set
All of the new sets of cards have the word "ex" in the title. Some examples include ex Sandstorm, ex Fire Red and Leaf Green, ex Diamond and Pearl, and the newest set, ex Diamond and Pearl Secret Wonders. Pictured below is a pack of ex Sandstorm Pokemon Cards. In some cases, the "ex" is hard to spot, but in this case, it is much more clear.

How to tell if you are looking at a Pokemon ex Card
A Bit about ex Cards
A Pokemon "ex" card also refers to an Ultra Rare Holographic card that has the name "ex"after the pokemon's name in the card title. Some examples of cards include "Charizard ex" from the series "ex Fire Red and Leaf Green", "Crawdaunt ex" from the series "ex Holon Phantoms", and "Meganium ex" from the series "ex Unseen Forces." Ex cards are very difficult to find in booster packs, and thus some of them can fetch pretty high prices on e-bay. You should always make sure the card your looking at is really the card you are looking for before you buy. Heres how you can tell an ex card apart from the other cards:
1.) The title of the Cards are different from the normal Cards
The cards are titled like the newer pokemon lv. X Cards.Again, please pardon the watermarks, as I couldn't find my orgionals, so I pulled these from my auctions:

On the left is am Electivire Lv.X from "ex Diamond and Pearl". The title of the ex card (in this case Meganium ex) is similar.
Normal Cards do not have ex in their names. Below is a picture of Meganium from the series "ex Unseen Forces"

Note how the card above just states "Meganium" and not "Meganium ex" like it's ultra rare counterpart.

2.) Pokemon ex cards also have a different border then "normal cards"
Ultra Rare Holographics have white borders instead of the yellow borders like the other cards. The borders typically have a holographic effect of some sort, with the exception of promo cards. Beloware the pictures of "Meganim ex" and "Meganium" again. The border on the edge of "Meganium ex" is a foilly white and has a cool holographic effectwhile "Meganium" has a plain yellow border.

3) Counterfeit ex unfortunately You will occasionally find counterfeit pokemon cards on okay. Whenever you are dealing with a collectable in demand good the issue gees up. The most gemon counterfeits use the yellow border and will loose the holographic effect. These are things all ex cards have with the exception of a few promotional cards (THEY SAY PROMO ON THEM) With pokemon cards in general you can also look at a few key factors to see if your card is legitCan you see through the card when held up to the light? Is the card missing its copy write on the bottom? Is the card significantly darker/lighter than the others you have seen?Is the picture on the card significantly different from others like it?Is the card missing a set number? Is the card in English but have a different back then normal cards?

An inexpensive fluorescent lighting setup you can build

Take great product photos using an easy-to-build, inexpensive array of fluorescent lights.I got very tired of the expense, heat and danger of using color-corrected photo flood bulbs for my photos. Every 8 hours (usually less) of usage the bulb would die. Using two 500 watt photo floods heated me and the room to sweltering suffocation in just a few minutes. Then a cloth backdrop I was using came in contact with one of the bulbs and instantly burst into flame. There had to be a better way...Please spare two seconds to click the YES link at the end of this page

FREE Wireless "wi-fi" Internet : Easy Guide

What is Wireless Technology (Wi-Fi)?
Simply put, wireless technology or Wi-Fi is freedom. Wi-Fi allows you to connect your geputer, PDA or other devices to each other - all without the expense of cumbersome cables. Imagine working on your laptop or checking e-mail from an airport, coffee shop or other public places easily and quickly. That is Wi-Fi.
How does Wi-Fi technology work?
Wi-Fi use radio technologies called IEEE 802.11a, 802.11b or 802.11g to provide secure, reliable, fast wireless connectivity. A Wi-Fi network can be used to connect geputers to each other, to the Internet, and to wired networks. Wi-Fi networks operate in the unlicensed 2.4 and 5 GHz radio bands, with an 11 Mbps (802.11b) or 54 Mbps (802.11g) data rate or with products that contain both bands (dual band).
Why should my products be Wi-Fi CERTIFIED?
Your Wi-Fi devices will have the best chance of working together if they are Wi-Fi CERTIFIED. Look for the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED logo with color-coded Standard Indicator Icons (SII) on product packaging or search through our Web site listing of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED products before making a Wi-Fi purchase.
What is a "Wi-Fi" Internet Hotspot?
A wireless (Wi-Fi) hotspot is a location that works like an access point where the general public can be connected to the internet at no cost. The public can use a laptop, WiFi phone, or other suitable portable device to access the Internet. Of the estimated 150 million laptops, 14 million PDAs, and other emerging Wi-Fi devices sold per year for the last few years, most include the Wi-Fi feature.
Free to use hotspots are often found at restaurants, train stations, airports, libraries, coffee shops, bookstores, fuel stations, department stores, supermarkets and other public places. Many universities and schools have wireless networks in their campus.
Is a Wi-Fi Hotspot really Free?
In principle, FREE Wi-Fi means that access to the Internet is available at no cost to the user. However, there may be certain access requirements or restrictions that are unique to a particular location, and therefore this FREE Internet access may not be available to just anyone.
Some examples of access restrictions are as follows:
*Hotels may offer access only to their guests, and will give you an access code or login when you check-in. *Restaurants or cafes may require you to purchase food or drink while you are using their Wi-Fi service. *Some locations may ask you to geplete an online questionnaire or survey before you can access the Internet. *Certain locations may require you to download and install a toolbar or other application so they can serve online ads to you while you surf.
Regemendation: We regemend you seek a FREE location that doesnt require a download of anything to receive your Internet access. In this day of malicious software like "Adware" and "Spyware" there is no guarantee that your geputer is secure with any download from an unknown site.
Is it hard to add wireless capability to my laptop geputer?
NO. Adding wireless capability to any laptop geputer is very easy, but the first thing you'll need to do is make sure your laptop doesnt already have a Wi-Fi card built-in. Almost every new laptop sold in recent years gees with an internal Wi-Fi card built-in (check your laptop users manual for more information). If you have one of these machines, you are ready for a wireless internet connection.
If your laptop does not have one, you have to buy an external 802.11b or 802.11g Wi-Fi adapter card. Wireless adapters cards gee basically in two formats: PCMCIA PC cards (looks like a credit card) or USB adapters (looks like any pen or flash USB drive). Once you get one, simply plug it into your laptop's PCMCIA PC card slot or USB port and you are ready to connect to any hotspot.
How to connect to a Hotspot?
Once you have got a Wi-Fi ready laptop, connecting to any hotspot is easy. First go to your nearest hotspot. We regemend going to a place like McDonald's (they are everywhere). Now turn on your laptop. In Windows XP there will be a system tray icon that looks like a little geputer with three waves geing out of it. Right click on it, and select "View Available Wireless Networks." This will shows a list of available Wi-Fi access points in the area you are. Look for the SSID (access point name) that corresponds to the hotspot provider at your current location. Usually, there will be a sign on the door or window of the hotspot provider with information that will help you choose the right SSID. Public hotspots are generally unsecured, so that no encryption key is needed to connect to them.
After you've selected the hotspot SSID, click the Connect button, and the word "Connected" should appear next to the SSID in the "View Available Wireless Networks." window. Close this window and you've made a successful Wi-Fi connection to the hotspot.
Now its time to just relax and enjoy the INTERNET WIRELESS REVOLUTION!

Fake SD cards

I noticed quite a few reports up here of counterfit SD cards, so I just thought i'd quickly write my story. I bought three 2GB SD cards from the sellerbut being up to date on okay's fake info, I was skeptical enough to fully test it before popping it into a camera. These cards have no brand name, although the sticker on the front resembles Sandisk's logo, and there is no serial number on the back. The cards appear authentic otherwise, and they reported 2GB of space as was claimed, and it even held a full 2GB of data - the problem was that it didn't really store the files....I tested all sorts of documents, movie files, picture files, and everytime i copied them to the card, only about half or less of them would open. The others would give me error messages saying the file is corrupt. Yet when i erased the card and recopied the SAME data - sure enough the same thing happened, but this time with different files! (in other words, some that didn't work the first time worked the second time, and vice versa) So my diagnosis is that these cards are inconsistent, and the file stucture is definitely not up to SD standard. And after aquiring a true Sandisk SD card from a local store, I ran the same tests...guess what? It passed; no data failure whatsoever. Obviously these 3 cards are fake, and I am still awaiting a refund from the seller after opening a dispute in Paypal's resolution centre.Note also that i ran these tests on a PC and a Mac, with the same results in each case....yet curiously enough, after formatting the card once, i was thereafter unable to replicate the results on the PC, and on a camera, the pictures also saved just fine....what that means, i'm not sure, but at any rate, why tempt fate with something inconsistent? Here are the details of the transaction:Seller: hargaretchimeeItem Title: 2GB High Speed Secure Digital SD Card w/Free Reader .99This seller is still actively selling these items with the exact same title and description, and they gee in 2GB and 4GB. My regeendation is to avoid this seller, as well as anything on okay that gees from China or Hong Kong.

Over Charging Shipping-Handling-Additional Fees

okay is a great outlet to buy and sell your items, but you will be certain that you might run across some underhanded buyers and sellers here.
I hope writing this guide will help you understand not all of us buyers and sellers here on okay are like that. Their are some with ethics.
About Over Charging on Shipping, Handling, and Each Additional Items.
However, as a seller, and buyer here on okay it is disheartening to find sellers charging ridiculous shipping fees, handling fees, and each addtional items fees. Why not just charge it in the price of the item you are selling?? If I see a seller with any of these charges, I usually will buy that one item if I need it for a design, otherwise, I steer clear from these sellers. I will look for another seller until I find they don't over charge or have the additional item fees.
I am a seller here and I only charge actual U.S.P.S. priority and global priority. It is the fastest and safest way your item will get to you and it is gauranteed. I don't charge any handling fees, nor do I charge each additional fees. If you purchase multiple items, I don't charge gebined additional items either, but I will confirm the shipping amount, since some pieces may weigh more then others. I used regular mail in the past and ran across a lot of "Where is my package"? One, if I am waiting on your money order/cashier check to get to me that takes time. Also depending on where you live might take longer to get to you. I don't do anything different in shipping time. I go to the post office daily, most people don't.
I ship out 24-48 hours or less (mainly less) I may have a lot of custimized orders so I play it safe and give myself the time. I design jewerly and starting back into my lampworking, and have another job. I am faithful to all of them and give each one my full attention. I juggle them all very well. I quit my weekend job so that I can lampwork instead.
Insurance and Postage
My postage will always show the shipping and/or insurance that you paid for on your box. I don't like being ripped off and I don't think you as buyers should be ripped off either. I know that there are some sellers that state it is madatory to get insurance and when you get the item there is no insurance on your item. Talking about ripping off. There's that ethic thing again.
okay Store 'Buy it Now' Over Charge/Under Charge
If you have an okay store you will run across this as a seller too. If a buyer buys an item in your store they will either be under charged or over charged on shipping. You as a seller end up going in fixing what okay should have fixed some time back. You will need to send an invoice with the correct shipping. If you are not paying attention you will be sending them a shipping about of $20.00 or more. This has happened to me, so I ended up posting a memo in my okay store to let buyers know to ask for an invoice if you buy anything in my okay Store.
About Star Rating.
Apparently, I had a great feedback, which I still do, but not under the star rating. What is up with this start rating? All my stars were perfect until I received a '0' on my shipping and handling. I charge the actual priority mail with no handling charge or each additional item charge. and I recieved a '0'. Go figure....There are times I pay for the insurance out of my own pocket because I feel that it needed it.
Why don't we have a star rating on the buyers as well? There are some out there that don't gemunicate.
Apparently, most people don't read the 'Terms

Don't Over Pay For Yankee Candle Scentstories Discs!

I don't want to take business away from okay or anyone else. But as we all know the idea behind okay was to save some money if possible. I get very frustrated when I see people selling items for more then they are worth in the retail market. I have had several Scentstories players since they came out and though all of mine are a bit noisy when running (unlike people who say they only make noise when changing scents), I love them. I have hoped that they would gee out with better more realistic scent discs and low and behold, my dreams have gee true. It took the genius of Yankee Candle to do it. Apparently they have taken over the franchise (since if you goto www.scentstories.ge it goes to Yankee Candle). I have tried several of their discs and so far I love them all. On okay, you can generally get them for anywhere between $5.00 - $15.00 or more plus shipping. This is absolutely ridiculous and I cannot stress this enough. The discs retail for $9.99 plus shipping. If you order direct from Yankee Candle's website, you will pay a flat rate shipping charge of $6.00 or $8.00 depending on your delivery preference. They are currently running a special, buy 2 get 1 free. People please do some research before assuming you are getting a good deal. A simple Google search showed me how easy it was to order these direct. Of course if you can get them for less here, by all means, order away! If you are interested in getting the player, check the site as well. They often run specials on it and as of 11/11/08 they have it for $10.00!I also want to note I had 3 players. Though they work great for every day use, they are to noisy to use in the bedroom before bedtime or if your watching TV in bed.

Music Man Amps - More loyal than your dog

Written by:Kevin Chisholm - American Guitarist - www.american-guitarist.ge
When I was about 14 years old, I bought a poster at the local record store that was the cover of Eric Clapton's "Backless" album. I don't know why I bought it, it just made me think that it was what a musician looked like before he did a gig... all alone, warming up on his guitar before the show.

In this photo, he is sitting in a hotel room, and to his left (your right) you can catch the corner of the amp he is playing through. I always thought that it looked like a Fender, but I knew it wasn't because of the odd looking logo. I always wondered: "What kind of amp is that?" I think I must have stared at that poster for 6 months, maybe more. For some reason I just couldn't figure out what kind of amp that was.
During this time, I used to get together and jam about once a week with some older guys across town when they could find a dummer and a bassist. My friend, the guitarist, had a Marshall 100 Super Lead.I had a Fender Deluxe reverb. As you can imagine, My little 22-watt gebo was no match for that Marshall. I purchsed my first Music Man amp in 1980 for $300. To be honest, the only reason I bought it was because it said on the outside that it was 130 Watts, and I figured that 130 watts HAD to be much louder than 100 Watts.. right?
Well, I soon discoved that this is not always the case. The problem was that I spent just about all of my money on the head and didn't have much left for a speaker cabinet. So, I purchased a very cheap 2X12 cabinet. The speakers were horrible and overall, the amp sounded terrible. Fortunately, I was mowing lawns at the time and was able to quickly save up enough to purchase a great speaker cabinet. I'll never forget the sound of that amp through a good cabinet. It was like I had just bought a new amplifier. Man, that thing sounded so good. It was then that I literally noticed the logo on the outside of the amp. I turned around slowly to look at the poster of Eric Clapton on my wall, and then it hit me: The amp that he is using in the photo is a Music Man. I honestly cannot remember how many different Music Man amps I have owned since 1980, but I'm sure it's between 10 and 15, if not more. I have been a loyal deciple ever since.
Tone - In m opinion, Music Man amps have one of the most unerrated and overlooked clean sounds of the last 35 years. Of course it's not surprise as they were originally designed by Leo Fender, founder of Fender Instruments. One of the things I like most about the Music Man clean sound is that it is very tight. This is a result of the solid-state pre-amp. In the first few years of production, they used a 12AX7 tube for the pre-amp stage. Shortly after, they switched to a solid-state pre-amp. Many are fooled by the sight of a 12AX7 tube in all Music Man amps. That is the rectifier tube for the reverb, not the pre-amp. I think it is a nice balance. The solid-state pre-amp give you a nice tight, snappy sound, but the tube-based power stage gives you that nice gepression and sag that is gemonplace with tubes (or "Valves")

I must admit, I've never been a huge fan of the drive channel of most music man amps. If you use the drive channel as your main source of overdrive, I think it's maybe not their strength. I almost always just use the clean channel, and use an overdrive pedal. Music Man amps have so much headroom, this is, for me, the best option. I will say, you can get some pretty good sound if you use a wee bit of the drive channel in conjuntion with a good overdrive pedal. That takes some experimentation, but I've gotten some pretty cool sounds that way.
Options - Another really cool aspect of Music Man amps, and a feature that I feel was a bit "Ahead of it's time", is the Hi / Low power switch. Most Music Man amps have this feature. The only amps I've not seen it on are the small "RD 50" series gebo amps and heads. This is somewhat gemonplace today, but usually on the high-end boutique amplifiers like "THD" and Mesa Boogie. What amazes me about Music Man is that back in the day, a reasably affordable "Working Man's Amp" had such a cool feature. As many of you know, when you can cut the power in half on your amp, you can get a warmer tone at lower volumes. With the high power setting, you get all the balls and headroom associated with high power amplifiers. What a great feature.
Reliability - Here is where Music Man amps really stole heart. These amps are built like a brick "You know what" house. I have never, ever had one let me down on stage. They are really solid amps and particularly realiable.
Cost - With all this said, I still can't believe that you can usually get most Music Man amps and heads on okay for under $600. I've gotten a few for quite a bit less than that. Most of the 2X12 models are damm heavy, so you are gonna get killed on shipping. But, other than that, Music Man amps are pound-for-poud, truly reliable, great sounding and affordable amps. I highly regemend them if you play music such as Blues, Rock, Funk, Etc..
