Jackson released from hospital last night - SALMONELLA (tmi beware)

Remember Jackson being really sick with throwing up and diahrreah a few weeks ago? Well a dr my Mom took him to misdiagnosed him, and we took him to MY dr. on Wednesday after worse symptons and pure bloody stool. He was immediately admitted in hospital. Was released last night. He has FINALLY provided us a stool sample today, which we took to the hospital a few hours later. Just waiting..... I am exhausted, stressed out, and totally emotionally and physically drained. But doing ok. Jackson is playing with dinosaurs right now and eating pretty good.

Paypal and cashback question.....

I just realized that I have not gotten ANY cash back on any of my purchases using my Paypal card. I have had my card for years, and was grandfathered with the 1.5% cashback. I always swipe it as a credit card (not debit). I haven't bothered to see when the cashback stopped paying, but I've been using it alot lately. Did I miss something? Did Paypal stop doing the cash back? Oh, for the last couple of days, the "help" button on Paypal has been giving me an error message. TIA Liz

Young Boys Books Help!

A boy at the library told me about a book series of which I've now forgotten. It's about a character who wears really tight underpants. It's not Captain Underpants, he's already devoured those books. Does anyone know of a good weed killer that will not harm surrounding plants? My neighbor has not weeded in years. The weeds are growing over to my property. does anyone else live near Boston besides me? Fighter jets do a fly over on the 4th of July every year. They hang out this way before the fly over, circling around and getting into their formation. It is AWESOME! OMG! The sound....you know it is not an airplane when they come by!! The final time that they go by they are flying low and in formation. It never gets old. They have on all of their lights, you can FEEL it in your body, it's so loud, if that makes sense.

OT: Monorail crash at WDW

Two monorails collided at the TTC at WDW at 2 am this morning. It happened following the fireworks at Epcot, I believe. One driver was killed and the other was taken to the hospital. 5 passengers were also treated. The monorail will be closed today and possibly even longer. Such a sad event to happen. My thoughts are with the family that lost their loved one. I believe this is the first major accident the monorail has ever had.

I have tried TL and it crashed my computer. I have tried Auctiva and they had a huge security breech. Do I want to go to a RL Chocolate Soup Boutique?

I'm on vacation in Charlotte NC. I'm in CS heaven here. I come here once or twice a year bc we have a friend and family here so I know the places and have been to them before. But I was looking for some more and just found there is an actual Chocolate Soup 7 miles from me!! But I've already kindof overextended myself DH is more than slightly annoyed. PP money is gone (except for the $50 I've earned since we've been here), used some checking account money and the credit card. But I'm having surgery in a few weeks and doing serious inventory shopping to keep me going for the several months I won't be able to drive! I am also looking for a fall/winter wardrobe for DS. So - is it worth my time and ticking off DS more to go there tomorrow? I've read some online reviews that say their prices are pretty good and that their sales are great, but one said the clearance was in August last year I'm also just point blank curious! LOL! Funny thing is - I often wondered why I often find so much of the brand Chocolate Soup when I'm down here and now I know. I got two NWT and several EUC this time

The watch just ended up boy this one came up quick and left just as fast. We had the most perfect view of the beginning and progression of a funnel cloud formation and dissipation. Within a minute of the last shot, the sun came out, it pelted hail and there was a double rainbow. And our lovely emergency broadcast squeeled the alarm, said that itw as an emergency, the dude comes on and says "we are.......STATIC......(static for about 2 minutes)" then the lady comes back on and says "that was an emergency broadcast. We had to laugh. Brown chicken brown cow.

So I had this buyer bid on something, win the auction and not pay. When the auctions ends I send an invoice, 4 days later when no contact has been made I send a reminder with another invoice, 7 days later still no payment still no contact I open an unpaid item dispute. Really what esle are sellers supposed to do? Is is that hard for buyers to pay for things that they bid on? So today I wake up to a nasty email for buyer furious that I opened up an unpaid item dispute.

I have these 4 pairs of what I thought were crop pants. 3 of them fit that description, but 1 pair is obviously longer than what I call "crop" pants but much shorter than regular pants. I did not see the first one so I don't know if it is as bad as this one. For the most part the movie is just transformers smashing each other up - prob ok for most kids old enough to know this is pretend. However the sex talk and back view of one of the male human characters dressed in thongs is more that I barganed for in a "kids" movie. The sex comments and shots of near sexual activity had no part in the movie story - without the bad language and sex sceans it was a fun movie for those who like lots of robot smash um ups. But you will find yourself having to answers questions from your kids you may not be ready to asnser.

that you and your family had fun? I want to take the missus and my daughter somewhere, where all of us will have a good time. They like the beach, but I'm beached out. The missus and I loved Gettysburg, but then I have 15 yo girl who would be bored. I've always wanted to go to Gem Mountain, but that's like a one day thing. And, still the problem of my kid being bored. I've never been to Florida or Georgia. Anything exciting to do in those states? Please not Disney. Christy and I are too old for those rides. Then my kid would have fun at first. But, she would complain because she would be riding by herself and eventually not have any fun. This happened at Cedar Point 2 summers ago. Does anyone have any suggestions?

One of my brilliant teenagers just swallowed a straight pin. (Why you don't keep the pins in your mouth while sewing!) I keep all my sales records in a spreadsheet that I created on my own. It keeps track of all my expenses by each item, etc. I have one column where I enter $ I paid for the item, but want to add a formula to that entire column to multiply the number I enter by 5% (sales tax) to give me the total amount) Ex. I spent $5 so I enter that, I want a formula that will multiply that automatically by .05 and give me the total The only way I can find to do it is by manually entering the formula for each box, but is there an easier way? Hopefully someone gets what I'm talking about, I'm not sure I explained it very well. Thank you!!

SAHM to school aged children?

I was just wondering how many people were stay at home moms with all kids school age. My youngest will be 4 tomorrow and my other 2 are 7 and 10. I have people ask me all the time what I am going to do when all my kids are in school. My DH said I don't have to work if I don't want to. I don't have any good job skills, my other jobs were fast food and hardware store. I haven't worked in 7 years. I'm already afraid I will feel guilty if I don't work but I don't really want to. I don't want people to think I'm just lazy but it's so convenient to stay at home and be available to the kids. So if you are a SAHM to school age kids did anyone give you grief. I know I shouldn't care what people think but people are already starting to ask me what I'm going to do since my youngest is not a baby anymore. I'm sure I can find stuff to keep me busy but does it get boring during the school year?

Maybe I should say DH even had a fun time! Then to the farmer's market where we got some fantastic produce, some homemade cheese (to die for!) and a replacement to our rosemary plant. The bummer of the day? Pittsburgh Friday night traffic! I'm not from the city anymore and it took us a long time to get out of it! I was beat! We all slept in until a little after 7, so I'm still not awake yet. I'll get my photos uploaded sometime today. No plans other than we have to go to the grocery store today. Have a wonderful weekend! He's an average boy. What else can I say ? I'm getting him the Leapfrog Talking Globe. He's never had anything that even resembles a video game! I'm sorry, I have a LOT of listing questions lately. I'm going to try and put most of them on this one thread. I'll break up the photos. I know you would call this a button on. But a button on WHAT? Romper? I want to say jon jon, but I know that really isn't right? And it's Bailey Babies. That's Bailey Boys, right? I used the term portrait in the title, but would you consider it for a Christening as well? Anything else that comes to mind? Would you list these Lilly P's as a set? The skirt is in EUC, the sweater shows a slight bit of fade/wash wear. The skirt is reversible, the sweater also has an anchor on the back, so they are the same Ankah line and they are the same size. I am wondering if I'd get more seperately for the pieces. I've never done the route of putting a photo of the pieces together to show the set, but listing separate auctions, but thinking that may be a good idea here? More in next post…

He flew into the window on our porch. While DH and I were sitting on the couch on the front porch! LOL! Scared us both but frightened the bird more than anything... or maybe he was in shock! I have more pictures but didn't get them uploaded yet. He would sit on DH's finger without flying away and on DD8's shoulder. He finally flew away but came back about an hour later just to sit on the porch railing and talk to us. LOL! Too many freaks, not enough circuses

Wrinkles in a Vinyl Raincoat

How do you get rid of them? I have this darling little raincoat that I'm getting ready to list for BTS with matching rainboots, but the raincoat is quite wrinkled. I tried applying my hair dryer to it, but it didn't straighten out much. It says not to iron and not to machine dry. So what's a girl to do??? Any good ideas? TIA! OOH LA LA PRINCESS BOUTIQUE

Why would ebay do this?

I have one of those messages that someone requested my contact information, only #1 the username is no longer registered and #2 I don't have any history (at least in the last 90 days) of any transaction with this person... The name sounds sort of familiar but I can't find any transaction I would have had with them. Why would they be contacting me and why would ebay just hand over my info? I mean, I have their info too but I just don't get it and for some reason it makes me nervous.

Hi ladies I have a question for you all. I bought a 60.00 outfit for my daughter, auction stated like new, not ever worn, no flaws ect. Got it yesterday, shirt looks new, pants are frayed, thread bare at some seams and full of dryer lint, it is sticky/powdery and stuck to the corduroy. Anyhow, I looked at the listing, it says no returns, contacted seller, she says no returns, filed with paypal for SNAD. I want to return the whole outfit, I know I eat the return shipping but I want my 60 dollars back, I dont care about the 4.00 to ship, this was an expensive set!! Anyhow paypal (it is escalated to a claim) has to review it, I am guessing the seller told paypal no returns and now I get an email from paypal saying they will review by August 10th. Have I done evrything correctly so far with paypal? Is there any way they will tell me I can't return this awful outfit? I really hated to push this return but the pants are really horrid

I seem to have gotten the buyer who must have the worst luck in receiving packages intact I bubble wrapped the item and filled any loose areas with packing peanuts before placing in a sturdy box so I'm not sure I necessarily believe his claim. What kind of reply would you leave? Could I reference the fact that the FB he leaves seems to indicate he has lots of packing "problems" or is that not allowed?
