There are good caring people out there.

I went into work today, a kids shop and my boss Lu was telling me about a elderly couple that came in after hours and that they had been in there before so she knew who they were. He asked how many outfits a person could possibly get with 100.00. Lu told them depending on the outfits. This man went ahead and purchased some items, then wrote the check for $100.00 more and asked her to please use that 100.00 towards someone that could really use a little help. She said they had been in there plenty of times so she knew the check would be good. He and his wife were buying some clothes for a neighbors kids that had just recently split from her dh/bf A few min later she said that another elderly lady came in and was talking about a neighbor that was recently single and had kids she was trying to also help( same people we dont know) and that she was taking her "extra" $$$ and trying to get a few things for the boys for school, she didnt have much she was on a fixed income but new she wanted to do something. Lu listened to her talk for a few min, the lady went and got a few things, and Lu used what she got and put that towards the 100.00 the other couple left to help other out. She told me that if someone comes in, and there really down and out and cant afford a certain outfit for there child and there is still something left of the 100.00 to apply a few of there items towards that. I just thought it was really sweet of this elderly couple to come in and do something like that because these days it seems you just dont see that anymore.kwim
