I am so embarrassed to be asking this but I was vegetarian for most of my life and don't really know how to cook meat. I want to make pulled pork in the slow cooker, I bought "boneless pork shoulder roast" and it has a string netting on it. Do I take it off before cooking or leave it on? Thank you!
