Somehow a yellow jacket got in our bedroom yesterday, unnoticed, and stung me after 2am. It was on our comforter, and when I moved, it got my arm. It hurt like the dickens for several hours after. But now, my for arm is swollen, red, hot, hurts, and itches on top of that lol! I put insect bite cream on it, which did nothing. Ice helps, but is getting annoying to hold on all the time. We don't have any benadryl (sp?) in the house, but if it works, then I'll ask DH to stop at Walmart to pick up. Or I'm open to anything else that would work. I don't really care about the redness, or ugly swelling, cause I won't win a beauty contest regardless. But the itching and pain it driving me nuts. I already tried Excedrin for the pain, but it didn't help much. We only have so much cash flow till payday, so I really trying to find what will work the first time, kwim?
