I keep all my sales records in a spreadsheet that I created on my own. It keeps track of all my expenses by each item, etc. I have one column where I enter $ I paid for the item, but want to add a formula to that entire column to multiply the number I enter by 5% (sales tax) to give me the total amount) Ex. I spent $5 so I enter that, I want a formula that will multiply that automatically by .05 and give me the total The only way I can find to do it is by manually entering the formula for each box, but is there an easier way? Hopefully someone gets what I'm talking about, I'm not sure I explained it very well. Thank you!!
